JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Mixing & Serving Drinks – Preparing a variety of cocktails accurately and creatively, often from memory or custom orders.
  • Customer Interaction – Engaging with guests in a friendly, attentive manner, offering suggestions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of Ingredients & Techniques – Staying knowledgeable about spirits, mixers, garnishes, and cocktail-making techniques.
  • Maintaining Bar Area – Keeping the bar clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies like glassware, garnishes, and mixers.
  • Inventory & Stock Management – Monitoring liquor and supply levels, assisting with inventory, and ordering as needed.
  • Compliance with Safety Standards – Following hygiene and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol serving practices.
  • Cash Handling – Managing payments accurately, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and any tips received.

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience – Previous bartending experience, especially in making cocktails, is often essential.
  • Knowledge of Mixology – Understanding of cocktail recipes, spirits, mixers, and garnish pairings.
  • Customer Service Skills – Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers.
  • Attention to Detail – Precision in measuring ingredients and preparing cocktails accurately.
  • Speed & Efficiency – Ability to work quickly and effectively, especially during busy periods.
  • Physical Stamina – Ability to stand for long shifts and handle the physical demands of bartending.
  • Certification – Responsible service of alcohol (RSA) certification or equivalent, as required by local laws.
